So in the title I ask, 'Do Doc Martins come in Pretty?' To answer this question I looked upon my good old friend pinterest and weheartit. What I found (as shown in the pictures below) was something that intrigued me. Yes they were quite pretty and some where really cute (the sequins Doc Martins), but still each had an overbearing masculine tone. I know that it is a trend to wear masculine accents, and I myself am a lover of this trend, give me some boyfriend shirts and blazers and I am one very happy girl. But I like to think that my feet (size 6) is where I showcase my more feminine side, give me some pretty ballet flats and sandals with an oversized shirt dress and there's my balance between masculine and female.
Now the 'prettier' version of Doc Martins are definitely more feminine than the typical black version, but the shape just screams "Man Shoes!" So unfortunately i'm still on the anti-Doc Martin bandwagon, but I do still appreciate a more feminine take on the otherwise masculine shoe.

Looking at these pictures, there definitely are some really cool Doc Martins, but unfortunately they're just not for me.
